Head of Mammalogy

Curator — Mammalogy Division
Manages the mammal collection: bats, rodents, carnivores, and other mammals. Leads field expeditions and taxonomic research on Paraguayan mammals.
Head of Ornithology

Curator — Ornithology Division
Oversees the bird collection including study skins and egg specimens. Conducts research on avian biodiversity and habitat ecology in the Chaco and Atlantic Forest.
Head of Herpetology

Curator — Herpetology Division
Manages preserved specimens of reptiles and amphibians. Specializes in documenting species diversity and distribution across Paraguay's diverse ecosystems.
Head of Entomology
Entomology
Curator — Entomology Division
Curates one of the museum's largest collections — thousands of insect specimens. Research focuses on taxonomy, agricultural entomology, and pollinator conservation.

Manages the herbarium with dried plant specimens from across Paraguay. Research includes ethnobotany, medicinal plants, and vegetation surveys.
